If you have an iPod Classic this Sony is for you
I bought two of these when they were new, one for my indoor studio and one for outside studio and love that I could play my iPod Classic with all my playlists on it and have music for hours. Not to mention that it plays CD's and has a tuner. This is a book shelf type unit, it isn't going to blast you out of the room but has good speakers and is perfect for a room or anywhere for that matter. I don't know where else you can find a unit that plays and older iPod with the wide connection. I rented a larger studio that had a bad outlet and it killed one of my units so I was able to use the speakers from the dead one on the base unit purchased. Be aware that the speakers don't usually come and that they have a unique configuration that is specific to the Sony unit. You will not be disappointed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
