Works and cheapest all around
If you're looking for a double safety bedrail, this is usually the one you find for the cheapest. The price beats any bedrails you have to buy two of by quite a margin so this is really excellent for the money. The only caveat I can say is that because the two rails are linked, there are certain limitations. I've seen reviews that say the linkage between the two rails are long enough to be used for queen sized width beds so for that extreme, it might work (I have not personally tried this) and that's great. The other extreme though, for beds which are narrow like most "standard" cribs at around 27.5" wide, this set does not work. The mattress is too narrow so that the metal parts of the linkage from both sides overlap, meaning you won't be able to secure firmly the rails by tightening ... If you're looking for a double safety bedrail, this is usually the one you find for the cheapest. I had to cut the two linkage bars shorter (rotary tools and a half hour job) so there's some clearance for me to secure with. That's some extra work involved if you're using it on a smaller bed but the tightening system does work well (the rails squeeze the mattress in between so it pulls on each other). Our little dude is extremely active and he hasn't been able to break down either side. Lastly, you might want to get some padding for these rails as it's basically a fabric cover over the metal structure. Overall, great set of bedrails if you know the size limitations.

Not for toddler beds
The instruction booklet states, "This is NOT for toddler beds or bunk beds. It's for adult beds that have a box spring or solid (as opposed to 'planked') platform." I needed it for a bunk bed or trundle bed that has 2x4 planks under the mattress.
