    Fony Sony in a good way

    My expectation was to acquire supplemental utility headphones for monitoring recording sessions. I use Sony MDR 7506 as my personal set and purchased the LyxPRO HAS-10's for for those being tracked. My criteria was reasonable fidelity and durability. In that requirement the LYX seem very adequate. They are styled much like the Sony's and seem well built. The sound quality is not as smooth and there seems to be some mid-range peak, but for my purposes, that's fine. The LYX cost half as much as Sony but seem to be much more than half the quality. I think they are a great value and sound very pleasant. If Sony's aren't cost effective, these LyxPRO HAS-10's are a good alternative.

    Unbalanced but acceptable.

    Heavy on the mid bass almost muddy, weak on the high end. Very loud hard hitting mid bass.The headphones are very comfortable to wear. The long cord is a plus. Would i recommend these headphones? Probably not. The price is reasonable. I find no fault with these headphones i just prefer a more balanced sound.These headphones seem to loose depth and high end by the over bearing mid bass.Better than most headphones but not the best in my opinion. Rock on!

    Got these for my husband for Christmas. Opened it to test it out first and they are amazing. Sound is great and it fits comfortably. I know he will love these as well. No complaints whatsoever 👍

    Listen to me now, believe me tomorrow!

    First of all, I am not an audio expert. I just needed some basic monitor headphones for recording projects I'm working on at home. The price for these seemed very reasonable, and when they arrived at my door a few days after ordering, I was impressed. They are well made and solid and do not feel cheap at all. Although they are not what I would consider light weight, I've worn them for 2 to 3 hours at a time and they are quite comfortable for me. The sound quality seems very good, but again, I'm not a professional sound technician. Very little outside noise can be heard while wearing them. I also love the 10 foot cord as it gives me plenty of slack for moving around. All in all, I am very satisfied with this purchase, and I would recommend this headset for anyone on a budget. 5 stars.
