    Provides a backup solution

    Katadyn water filtering products are extremely high quality. Not inexpensive, but worth it. Pro: Relatively inexpensive way to make water potable (drinkable). Good backup to a professional grade water filter. Con: Takes up to 4 hours, but it's a backup.
