    Good upgrade for older Servers

    Ignore the review saying that the E5-2470V2 is an Engineering sample. This processor was listed as an approved replacement for my Dell PowerEdge T420. I purchased it and so far it runs great and was a nice upgrade from the original Quad Core Xeon @ 1.8 GHz that was originally in the server.

    Nice upgrade for an ancient server

    I use an old Dell PowerEdge R320 for a home lab. Quite an improvement from the stock 4 core cpu. The gently used works as intended.
