The Roland Octa-Capture is a portable USB 2.0 audio interface that supports high-speed data transfers to and from your computer, giving you transparent 24-bit/192 kHz audio resolution. Ten inputs, ten outputs, and eight built-in VS preamps give you the I/O you need to record, edit and mix high quality audio with 16 dB headroom. It supports all major DAW platforms on PC or Mac, making it an excellent interface for multi-channel computer-based production. The Auto-Sens function intelligently sets optimal input levels for all preamps, and its four independent software-controlled Direct Mixers are ideal for creating custom monitor mixes. Of course the price was also very competitive also, compared to local offerings. Although, something that I seemed to miss was the FedEx customs charge, I don't think it's Yorozu_Japan's fault as it is more of an eBay issue if anything.

    "Solid, compact interface"

    This is a great, compact piece of equipment that met my recording needs. It was easy to use right out of the box and the software which contained the drivers installed without any problems. It was the first time I've had a Roland product that worked with such a small learning curve. The Octa-Capture has lots of potential for a number of recording needs. Some of the control knobs were small which caused some adjustment. The display was also small but worked out with placement. Overall, it's a great product.
