    It's for tube Amps.I got the Fender clean sound ,and niw I get the Marshall dirty sound for my lead guitar ,and heavy stuff.Truly blues rock sound .

    Use it with tube amps .I am plugging into a champ,and now I get a nice Marshall overdrive sound ,with Fender cleans I use it with a homemade 2 6v6 amp and wow .This is blues rock .You need a little more gain to play metal nn Eddie VanHalen solos.but this thing has a place for sure.

    Great Overdrive pedal.

    Classic and / or the British Blues Overdrive (Marshall's Bluesbreaker amp tone). Check out in YouTube, Texas Alley Blues, The 3 Primary use of an overdrive pedal. Issues low bottom end and / or flat of the bass tone, re-adjust is Bass setting on the amp (if the amp has it), or simple EQ or Para EQ Pedal will assist. Enjoy & have fun. Thank you.
