    Dayton 3N649 motor

    The 3N649 motor has apparently been discontinued by Dayton. It is a 3hp 3 phase and 3450 rpm with a 56C interface and no base. That is an unusually high HP rating for a 56 C mount. I bought it at a low price to use as a 1 ph to 3 phase rotary converter which doesn't even use the 56C interface, just the motors rotational inertia inertia. The motor is somewhat delicate and was damaged in shipping but repairable.
