    Loved Loretta

Have always liked Loretta Lynn. She was the perfect example of country. Her life story is certainly interesting. I liked the first book tremendously, and this follow up is also good. What a life this lady had and her marriage was almost had to fathom. She believed in love and really managed to keep everything together in spite of all the obstacles put in her way.

  • Loretta Lynn won't let you down

After reading Coal Miners daughter and realizing how much was left out of the movie I felt compelled to read this book. I was not disappointed. The story was told with the same sass as if Loretta Lynn was speaking just to you. In typical Lynn fashion no topic was off limits. You will laugh and cry all while getting a glimpse into this country icons life after the success of an Oscar winning movie and even some details that were left out of the original book. If you are a Loretta Lynn fan this is a must read. If you are interested in what really happenes in the country music industry by someone who actually lived it then this is the book for you.
