Most shafts had a 1-year warranty, 1 had a 5-year warranty, and this one said it had a 10-year warranty, which is why I bought it. It has some minor differences to the previous shaft which was replaced by a dealer 5 years ago. It is a smaller diameter in the middle and I think it might not have the feature of collapsing when in a crash. Also, the flange on the u-joint end looks different but still fits properly.
