Blown away!
I bought all three of the Live series mics and I simply love them. I have had a number of Cad products over the years from original E-100's to Cad GXL series stuff and have always been blown away with the quality so I figured I would try some of these new paddle mics to replace some of my other live/studio mics for guitar. So on this specific mic I loved the sound of it. Expecting it to be bright on guitar cab I was actually pretty shocked that a condenser could be so smooth sounding on modern Rock. It sounds clean and clear with an excellent low end response. I also tried it on Bass cab and acoustic guitar and both times it sounded excellent and far surpassed my expectations. On bass it sounded huge and detailed. ON acoustic it was clear with a very tight pattern for a condenser so I ... I bought all three of the Live series mics and I simply love them.
