They sold me a cover that was listed for my exact speaker and it is about 2" too short and does not fit. I filed to return it as "does not fit" because that was what ebay has as a selection. I was notified that I had to pay for return shipping?!?! Total BS. If they sell the wrong product, it it on THEM. Then, they argue with me over and over instead of doing the right thing and saying "look, we'll cover shipping" Stay away.

Buy one at a great price (or not. Still worth it).

I am an aging (sort of. Not Keith Richards old but close) guitar player who is cognizant that gear keeps getting heavier and heavier. My goal buying this was to eliminate the weight of a single 12" combo amp. I have a cabinet with a single 12" speaker that weighs about 10#. This ehx 44 Mag with the power supply weighs less than two and fits into my briefcase. Physically this is the perfect set-up. My only concern was if it would get loud enough to keep up to the drummer. Studio testing by myself said, "Yes." testing n rehearsal said "Yes." Gig testing behind my Boss ME 50 said, "Kaboom!" to the point where the bassplayer said, "You're using what? Now?" Ask me in 5 years if it's road worthy. I do about 50 gigs a year. others, in my research have had one a long time and give it a thumbs up. ...

Loud Humming noise with the pedal.

It has a bad hum. Now I could try using a noise canceling device, but that would mean spending more money. I tried everything to stop the hum but nothing worked.

  • huge tone with a small footprint and reasonable pricetag

After years of using a huge pedalboard with tons of effects, i decided to try to get my hands on smaller versions of similar effects pedals to try to pack more sonic punch with a smaller footprint. Electro Harmonix has been leading the pack with their compact nano sized effects pedals released in the last bunch of years and when i saw this pedal released it seemed almost too good to be true. With this pedal, i could have my complete preamp, effects and power amp all in one pedalboard, with one instrument cable going in and one speaker cable coming out. This unit has simplified my entire rig and the tone is INCREDIBLE. This pedal definitely colors the sound a bit with a good amount of presence and sparkle with the bright engaged, and still a bit without. This thing has tons of ...

  • Mind Boggling power in a pedal form!

This amp is small but very powerful. I have used this with gigs. I often would use it as a second amp for stereo or a dry amp for wet / dry / wet set up. It sounds warm like a tube amp, very clean you push it if desired. Built really well. I wish there was a on/off switch of a mute. I use it for various purposes. I want a 2nd one. EHX maked great stuff. I would like to see one that has a tube in it . Great value.

  • It is really hard to believe!

I'm a tube guy because I like the warmth of tube amplification. I play though a a Digitech RP500 (bypassing the amp modeling feature entirely) into clean channel of amp, which is a great sounding little 20 watt unit with EL34 output tubes. Love this amp! I've been playing since 1962 and it's the best amp I have owned. I stumbled upon a YouTube review of the Magnum 44 after watching some other Electro-Harmonix reviews and I decided the 44 would be a good backup for my amp, so I bought a used one here on eBay and it arrived today. I used amp speaker (Celestion Vintage Thirty), pugged the PRS into the RP500, fired it up, and WOW! I can hardly believe it! The 44 is louder and cleaner with the RP500 in front of it than running the guitar directly into the 44, and I'm telling you that there is ...
