I have use many of different types of cold gun blueing. So far as I can see is far of the best. It has great coverage & a beautiful shine. I would recommend this product to the fullest. If you can get the results like I have on all types and conditions of guns weapon you would be amazed by this product. best product i have used for cold blueing. Addenda. Bought two Buck 650 and one 655 hunting knives. Both had damage to the powder blue surface. This product made the damage all but invisible. Almost forgot the damaged surface of my ASEK knife. This Casey Perma Blue paste Gun Blue is just that. Makes a deep, permanent blue. Had only used the liquid before, the Pasts is the best

I have used it for years just a small amount on a cotton patch or a old piece of t shirt and rub it on. Never had it fail to turn a shiny spot black again. I use it on my shotgun slides and they always look new and after 30 years my shotgun still looks new.
