Simply insert them into the holder without having to re-install the sight or make any adjustments. It also features a compact cylindrical design and is easily identifiable with the vibrant green covering. The Viridian C5L Universal Sub-Compact Green Sight is compatible with all pistols that have a Picatinny model of rail. This allows them to be compatible with conceal carry handguns. They are also compatible with larger guns that are meant to be seen and that use large exterior hip holsters. These replacements will allow your Glock or another pistol model to maintain visibility of up to 100 yards during the day. At night, continue to see the laser for your gun brightly with a range of up to 2 miles. No special night vision optics are required to use it. Intimidate the target with a bright green laser powered by this lithium battery. These units will allow the laser to shine for approximately four hours using a constant laser. For those who prefer to use the pulsing feature, the battery will allow approximately seven hours of use. You can even combine a tac light and the lasers for a total of an hour using the CR1/3N.     Do A Little " Surgery" First

    I like these batteries...a lot. However, as many other reviewers have stated, the green, plastic coating on the batteries makes them often times get stuck in whatever you are using them in. This was the second time I had to drill a small hole in the stuck battery and use a EZ-Out Screw Extractor to get the battery out. Please...do yourself a favor...cut off the green plastic coating on the battery before installing them in anything. And this begs the question...Why does Viridian encase these batteries in the plastic coating. I know of no other major manufacturers that do this. All it accomplishes is trouble. Why...Why?

    Seems like good value so far

    I haven't used it for very long but it seems to work as advertised. If you're going to use it in something like an Armalaser GTO you need to peel off the rubber side coating to get it to fit. This size battery is impossible to find in my local area and some places want 5-10 dollars for one battery, and some of them are of questionable branding. If and when I need to change it (as I eventually will) I have spares.

    green plastic coating ??

    These are great batteries, but in order for them to fit in my LazerMax, I had to peel/cut off the plastic coating, I have read this in other reviews also. The extra coating makes it hard in some applications for the proper battery contact.

    15 year shelf life

    So it came quick and it appears to be a good battery - but with batteries until you use them awhile you really don't know. But this product has excellent shelf life I think it said 15. So with that I think the use will be good as well.

    Battery gun sight great value!
