About this product

Product Information

A visual feast combining ancient mysticism, cyberpunk sensibilities, flamboyant entertainment personalities, and gun-toting alien mercenaries. In the 23rd century, Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis), an ex-special forces agent who now practices as a down-and-out cabbie, finds himself caught in a struggle to defy a prophesied Evil from destroying the Earth when a mysterious woman (Milla Jovovich) falls into the back seat of his cab. Pursued by both the government and a powerful magnate enlisted by the forces of Evil (Gary Oldman), the woman is the key to Earth's salvation, known only as the Fifth Element. This was French auteur Besson's first offering with Hollywood backing. Academy Award Nomination: Best Sound Effects Editing.

Overall a great experience. Item is exactly as described and was well-packaged. A slight delay in receiving due to inclement weather (obviously no fault of the seller). I would highly recommend this seller.

    Quite Original

This film has multiple futuristic scenes where the production design is breathtaking. The way Korben's life gets changed is quite original. He is no invincible hero. Plus, the fight scenes are gnarly. Not to mention, contrary to what TV Tropes will try to have you believe, there was no Aesop where TV Tropes said it was. Sure beats any attempt at a remake of The Matrix that's in the planning stages.

  • Awesome Sci-Fi film

The Fifth Element A great sci-fi action flick with an amazing cast and a superb plot. Bruce Willis stars as Korben Dallas, a burnt out cop (like usual) who learns that it's up to him to save the world from certain doom. It's a great movie and is highly enjoyable! The action scenes are incredible and Milla Jovovich is awesome. The Fifth Element is as funny as it is action packed mostly due to Chris Tucker. The Fifth Element is great fun for the whole family, and is a must for all action fans. Final Verdict: 4/5 Rent or Buy?: If you're not a huge sci-fi fan you might want to rent this one before buying it, but it's a solid purchase and even more of a solid rental. IF YOU FIND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE. Thank you.
