Probably occurred in shipping. I use the scooter to get from the car to my grandson’s soccer field to watch him play. Very level surface. Haven’t tried it on a hill to verify power. I am 75 and won’t be doing anything crazy with the scooter.

Unit is charging now and will have trial run tomorrow. Very satisfied so far.
