    Overpriced and Under detailed.

    Not worth the price! Not by a long shot! The detail are soft at best. The model says "Studio Accurate Detail" it is no such thing! There isn't even a hatch on the side where Dave Bowman blasts in from the space pod. There are no figures, no pod bay, no cockpit in the command module, no decals for the hatch, or any other detail, parts poorly fit! Waste of money. Don't get buyers remorse. The price is waaaaay over the value! I did a kit review movie and show all of these details, or lack of details. Moebius needs to do a lot better job for the price they are asking for these kit! Unsatisfactory!

    And, as always, Mobius did not disappoint. Sharp, crisp detail, excellent design, great fit that ends the almost 50 year wait for a beauty like this to be released in styrene. Thanks Mobius!!! You guys are one of the worlds BEST !!!

    A beautiful model, the Discovery XD-1 in either 1/144 or 1/350 scale.

    Highly detailed model: A+ and the plans are very well written. Also, painting tips are given on how to do a paint job to make the ship look realistic. I highly recommend the model. I also bought the Discovery in the 1/350 scale and it too is well detailed. I have aircraft models in 1/144 scale, and ships in 1/350 scale to make it more clear the SIZE of the Discovery XD-1. At 1/350 it could take up most of the room on the deck of an aircraft carrier.
