    It says this item is leather, but I have my doubts! I couldn’t find a tag anywhere in the backpack, so it can’t be confirmed or disputed. The listing describes it asTop Grain Leather. I work with a lot of leather products enough to suspect it’s not. It doesn’t feel nor smell like newly tanned leather. It has a chemical smell. But like I said before I can’t prove or disprove the authenticity of the item or the sellers claim so I have to go with the written description. Time will tell🙄😬
