    I have an old original all metal Atra Plus razor and was skeptical about this most all plastic version, however plastic makes it much lighter and maneuverable. The part that attaches to and secures the blade is metal and I think it will work out fine.

    I left my Gillette razor handle in a hotel recently -- the handle I've had for probably 50 years. Trouble is I have 100 blades for the handle. Without too much trouble I found out that the handle was called the Vector. Armed with that I looked around and found this item from hbaplanets -- not used but new, and not one but two! One for my shower and one for my travel kit. Thank you hbaplanets!

      Works like they should

      Okay. I found nine razor heads long ago, and the package said the razors were compatable with Altra razors. When shopping I would occasionally look for Altra razors so I could use my found blades with no success. I was on line recently, and realized I could order an Altra razor to enable my use of the found blades. I found these, ordered them, and the blades I have had in a drawer for months indeed fit, work great, and I'm one happy camper. That's my story. Thanks for the Altra razor handles. John

      It's Okay.

      This was a replacement for one that wore out after a number of years. It is very light weight -- the very first Atra handle I had was metal and was better. Then the metal ones were extremely expensive, so I had to go with the lighter plastic model. So I knew what I was getting this time. Since it is a 2 pack, I should be covered for a long while at about $5 each as opposed to about $100 for the heavy metal ones.

      Lightweight

      It is very light weight and uncomfortable to use compared to the Original. It was broken into upon arrival due to the light weight material it is made of. Thanks to Gorilla Glue I was able to repair it and go ahead and use for however long it holds up. I have found a unit available on Ebay that is the Original and will probably go ahead and order it so that I will be covered the rest of my days.
