I recommend doing this inside to control the bits of plastic getting away. It is very similar to a canopy I have used for 4 and a half years. I have used it about 20 times in that period. It is still usable but is looking tired so I decided to replace it before it fails. If I get 20 uses out of this one that comes to about $2.15 per use. That is some economical shade.
