  • Good MB for an older computer, tweakable bios, dependable for a starter PC

The ASRock K7S41GX is a low-end motherboard. It was great when installed in 2004 however, it's now 7 years later. I've stretched the use of this motherboard with the installation of Windows 7 Ultimate, w/2GB of memory successfully and used it over two years. If used in a computer with Windows XP and properly set up, this is a very good and economical motherboard. I bought it to replace another that would not allow "restart" and sometimes it was difficult to boot up. The bios for this motherboard is tweakable. Of course, the new modern motherboards may be more stable.

  • Great netbox motherboard for PC

Great inexpensive way to build a netbox. Pluged in the Duron processor, attached the peripherals, installed win98 with Kubuntu as dual boot, and it has ran great in both modes. Supplier gave disc with drivers which came in handy with the windows install, while Kubuntu installed without any trouble. I purchased this board as "remanufactured" as a replacement for my HP motherboard, and if anything, I'd say this was as good as new ever was. Posted 1-5-12 thnx for reading!

  • Nice board

It is just what I needed to complete my job...
