Go another route
I got this guitar for my son for his birthday. Upon arrival the guitars was way to low. Tuning it at 440 it had buzz everywhere. It is a whole tone out of pitch between the open and 12fret octave. The nut is cut way to low so adjusting the string length/height is about a complete waste of time. I tuned the guitar up a whole step just so it’s playable. It still could use tighter action so I will probebly have to put 11’s on it which pretty much defeats the purpose of having him learn on the electric. He is very passionate about learning guitar and wants an electric guitar so bad he can taste it and I’m afraid this pos will change his mind about guitar all together. I thaught this would be fun for him to play but I’m sure that he would get more of a joy playing on a 10 Walmart ukulele. Very ... I got this guitar for my son for his birthday. If you want to find a decent guitar for a beginner I would strongly recommend staying clear away from one of these curses. The pickups are nice and loud and have a nice bite to them, and you can get a wide range of sounds out of it but what good are decent electronics on a guitar that you can’t play?. If anyone still wants one of thrash I will sell this one for $100 dollars
