    This is a used OEM part for a 2005 Toyota Camry. The one I originally received may have been damaged in transit since it contains an 18 year old circuit board. I contacted the seller who promptly responded and offered to send out a replacement. The replacement part worked like a charm! It accepted the DIY remote program code from both of my Toyota Camry key fobs the very first time I tried it. The dealer wanted about $800 for the part and $200 for a new fob, labor extra.

    Easy to install Plug and Play OEM at a fraction of the price

    Replaced the unit in the car after remotes would no longer work. Did not want to spend $450+ on brand new Toyota part, so opted for used. Unit located in rear pillar behind back seat on passenger side. Simply pull panel off, unscrew the old non-functioning unit and unplug the harness, then reverse procedure to reinstall new unit. Go to YouTube to see how to program remotes. Works like a champ!

    Great product! RKE module!

    I have struggled for an year with my car, not being able to go in programming mode. So I couldn't program the keyfobs that I had. I had it checked almost by dozen of people who couldn't figure out what's wrong. I talked with toyota dealership which also couldn't tell me if my car supports keyless entry or not. I almost gave up at some point. Until I found out in a forum that those modules are responsible for that and the rest was easy. I assume my car never had a Remote Keyless Entry module but I had all the wires at the panel of the rear passenger seat. I bought one of this modules and everything was resolved in less than 5 min. This saved me a lot of money and unnecessary after alam systems!

    Cheap and easy fix for the faithful Camry.

    This receiver is just what I needed to restore the keyless entry function on my Camry. Can't believe I waited so long to fix it. Cheap and fairly easy. Toyota wanted a small fortune to put a new one in.

    Installation success; keyless entry control module

    Installed following Youtube video. Then paired with a new remote per Youtube instructions. It works great the first time pairing was attempted. Saved many $$ over factory price. Installation was not difficult. Be sure and reinstall the panel trim clip retainers in the removed panel before reinstalling the panel. Some clips remain in the car holes when the panel is removed.

    Excellent. Worked as expected. Tip of advice: Buy from someone who have more than one unit to sell. You are more likely to get a salvaged, working part than a broken part that was recently taken out of a failing car.
