- r***k (1418)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseSeller sent me an entirely different model than what I purchased. Auction was for a Winix 5500-2 and he shipped me a Winix 5510. I paid $281.99 for this unit and he had Amazon ship a 5510, which at the time, was approximately $180, so it appears that he planned on making ~ $100 on me. He first attempted to get me to accept it as the replacement model for the 5500-2. Only when I noted that the unit he sent was $100 less did he agree to a refund. Worst eBay experience in my 25+ years!Reply from: jsmith521- Feedback replied by seller jsmith521.- Feedback replied by seller jsmith521.Totally dishonest feedback - I sent him the updated model because the previous model was no longer available. Exactly the same except for a little difference in appearance. Profit was NOT $100.00 regardless of what he says or thinks and the money had nothing to do with the refund. I refunded because he was unhappy and I try to treat my customers as I like to be treated. However, I have learned in well over 20 years of selling on eBay, that some buyers can't be pleased no matter what you do.

The item was listed as free shipping on the east. I'm as far east in my location as possible. However, instead of reaching out and asking me if I would be will to cover some of the shipping cost (because I know a fire pit is heavy) he refunded me and them double the price of the item so he could still say free shipping.
