I was pleased with the Kenmore "400Series" vacuum received. It appears well made and designed and performed well when tried. . The advertised vacuum was not '400 Series' but Kenmore "Elite". I asked the seller about the confusing wording and was told that Elite and 400Series are the same product. ? I don't want to make buying decisions with unclear ambiguous information as it is difficult to compare prices. I hope the seller corrects any similar ads.

    Kenmore Elite Pet Friendly Vacuum - Winner

    I bought this vacuum because of the high ratings and the fact that it uses a HEPA filter and bags. I absolutely love this vacuum. It out performs every other vacuum I’ve owned that were priced much higher. I have very dense, thick wall to wall carpet and a Siberian Husky. Not an easy task keeping my floors clean. This vacuum delivers! It’s power is incredible. The suction is unbelievable and it glides across my carpet. The attachments work great with the telescopic extension wand. I just wish the hose was a bit longer and more flexible. The two motor system can’t be beat. I like the fact that I can switch the brush roll off and on depending on the surface I’m cleaning. Overall, this vacuum gets a two thumbs up! It’s a beast and a great value, especially if you can find this unit on eBay at ...

    Hideously heavy.

    Heavier than a Kirby. Hard to push. A real workout. No automatic carpet height adjustment. The Dirt Sensor is not very sensitive, it only lights up with 'easy to see' dirt. Powerfull enough, and no belts- the only good things.

    Great Vacuum

    This was purchased for a client and upon receipt we noticed it pretty much looks new. It even still had the protective film on the Kenmore logo. The only thing that it needs is another extension and the wide floor brush like my older Kenmore vacuum. The bags hold a great deal more than you would think and I prefer bags over bagless as there is less mess.

    My wife loves this Kenmore 31150 vacuum as much as the 7-8 years old model who's motor went. If you're handy you can purchase replacement motors & replace them. We Tried, but failed ( should have used new motor). These have great suction & you have to Be careful have w low you set it for carpet because it's strong enough to pull itself forward. This also has a very long cord which in our older house is a big plus. Also has a HEPA filter that's cleanable. We were using. a used but newer RICCAR (Very Exspensive from local vacum shop) that her sister gave her, but it had very poor suction compared to th Kenmore
