today musicians in most (non-pro) bands play expensive loud mouthpieces or cheap loud mouthpieces with a very open tip and wonder why the band director gives them dirty looks or they get fired. before all of this it would be good to start on something like this mouthpiece to get a better feel of what to do. I played this all night and never got to eat dinner. I used it in the bands I play with and got great reviews.
