OER Quartz Clock #3980116 for 1971 Camaro
This review is aimed at OER and NOT the seller. The good: clock face is identical to original. The bad: clock did not fit in the OER replacement gauge cluster nor in my original gauge cluster because of a 1/4" metal protrusion from the side of the clock base. This protrusion is not present on the original clock and it interferes with the side of the gauge cluster to the point that the clock will not mount. The fix for me was to cut a 1" section out of the gauge cluster housing to allow for this protrusion. After that was done, the clock still did not fit correctly, but was acceptable (hack install). In addition to the fitment issue, the clock hour and minute hands would stop moving after a few minutes. Strangely, the second hand would continue to run. For the high price, I would ...
