Useful utility
Every product I own by PD has exceeded my expectations for ‘form with function’. So does this clip. Very handy to either just leave the camera on or temporarily for changing lenses. Effortless to clip in and out. Several videos and reviews online. Works great with mirrorless cameras to leave on as you hike. I have had Fuji X series cameras and fast primes on it as well as zooms. With multiple bodies, you will need to get one or more additional standard plates for each body. However, It would not attach to a Lowepro 150AW backpack strap I have which has average width straps but also a hard glide for the sternum strap that got in the way. so, be sure to check fit before you buy the clip. The only complaint I have is it is expensive for what it is. A clip. If it were priced $30 to $40, it ... Every product I own by PD has exceeded my expectations for ‘form with function’. FANTASTIC and useful clip for compact camera!
I use this for my X100T. It is PERFECTION. Period. I bought used, and I think that were I not such a cheapskate, I'd have bought it after my very first hike with my X100 years ago. The X100T is my 2nd X100 as my original drowned in a stream crossing. IF I'd had this clip, I'd still have my X100. Then again, because I didn't have this clip, my X100 would not have drowned and I would not have the X100T which is a superior camera in every way, IMHO. So...clip is the best clip for a backpack/water pack scenario if you have a compact camera. My guess is that a D-SLR like a D7200 would have enough mass to it that it would cause the clip to tilt downward such that it'd dig into one's chest a bit uncomfortably.
