The rich descriptions of the characters, places, events are so vivid that you felt like you were there. Cant's put the book down! The story is so complex that you can read the book over and over again and still enjoy it!

    Being a contemporary Chinese immigrant, I like the book On Gold Mountain very much.It is a saga about Lisa See' family.The historical masterpiece is very educational and instructive not only for Chinese immigrant but also for any human race in the world.The pragmatic obstacles and the emotional agony stir the nerve of the readers. The use of words and sentences is very beautiful and illustrate a vivid story.It is must see book for any literature lover.
