Fan Speed Controler
This is a great product and it sure beats replacing a fan that is new. The home is new and the fan is 14' up from the floor and the builder didn't think enough to install a fan with a remote and the fan mounting housing is not round enough to accept a remote controller. If you need one don't be afraid to spend 15 minutes to solve your problem.

Fan only control, modified to control fan/light combo.
As designed. I misunderstood the switch is meant to control a fan only. I had mistakenly thought it would control the light on a combination ceiling fan + light. Concluding the slider controlling fan speed incorporated an off position. The slider has 3 positions for fan speed: slow, med, fast. I modified the circuit board eliminating high speed making this position - off. The 3-way now switch controls the fans' light, the slider provides fan control: off, low and medium speed.As designed. Works like it's supposed to
Our ceiling fan made a fairly loud hum when it was on low speed using the pull-chain speed control. This 3-speed switch made it much quieter, and much easier to change speed. It came in clear plastic with no documentation. If you need a wiring diagram you can look it up on Lutron website. It's a 3-way switch but can be wired as single-throw.
