Product Information
Julien Temple (THE FILTH AND THE FURY) documents the world's longest running music festival. Having begun in 1970, Glastonbury festival has gone on to become Britain's most popular music festival. Temple collected footage from every year of the festival, home videos from attendees, and recut footage from Nicolas Roeg's 1971 film about Glastonbury in order to make the film. GLASTONBURY analyses the social and political function of the festival and features energetic performances from the likes of Cypress Hill, Joe Strummer and The Mescaleroes, and Morrissey among many others.
