    great value

    The carburetor is an exact replacement, even the high and low adjustment screws where properly set. I used the old gasket between the carb and manifold because the two mounting screw holes in the new gasket were oversize and it was hard to align the small opening port in the carb and manifold properly. Once I mounted the carb, the chainsaw started and works great.

    My saw is a older model with the bubble choke not a pull coke as the caruretor is.

    So make sure what kind of choke your saw has before ordering the carburetor.

    Saved our chain saw!

    Our chainsaw was not working and took it to a local husqvarna retailer/repair and told us it couldn’t be fixed. That it was to old for parts. My husband did buy a new one, but would not give his old one up. He bought this kit and after changing it, it started on the first pull and he was so excited. Thank you for saving his favorite chainsaw!

    Got more than I was looking for.

    I was looking for an air filter for my saw. Then I seen this package deal .an air filter new car and a new spark plug for a few dollars more than the air filter alone. I thought my saw was running fine. After installing the new carb and air filter. Wow, my 22 year old saw was running like new.

    Walbro WT-170-1 "knock off" for Husqvarna 51 or 55

    Exact replacement, fit perfectly. Make sure you order a new gasket (does not include one). I have a 1998 55 that hasn't run in over 10 years. Installed this new carb, new fuel line, new fuel filter, new plug, new gas & oil caps (bought everything off e-bay for less than $ 30). The saw cranked up on the 6th pull, I adjusted the idle setting - runs like a beast.
