    Grim Reaper

    I've built over 5000 models in the past 63 years, this is one of the best I've seen. Very little flashing, instructions are easy to following and parts fit is also very good.

    Have Fun With The Grim Reaper!

    This is a nifty, Aurora-style figure model; in 1/8 scale, it fits in with all the other classic monster model kits. It is easy to assemble and would be a great starter kit for a young modeler. The scenic base looks good out of the box but, to the advanced modeler, it also offers many possibilities for customizing.

    An as-yet unbuilt minor Christmas present among the rest I'll be buying for my Goth wife. At first glance the kit seems well laid-out and crafted with easy to follow instructions, which also include an interesting and well-written essay on the 1600s historical and literary origins of the Grim Reaper concept.

    grim rewards

    A good looking kit, fairly simple to build. Super artwork on the box. A couple improvements would have made this one perfect. First, the inscriptions on the tombstones, I'm not a fan of funny in my models, I suppose I could have filled them in with putty. Second, the hourglass could have been thought a little better, I like to fill some of my clear kit pieces, like beakers and bottles with glow powder, the hourglass accepted the powder, but could've been better. The grass pieces could've been easier to insert. None of these things are deal breakers, and this kit, after completed looks great.
