FIFA Soccer 2011 released on Sep 28, 2010, bringing a new kind of meaning to online multiplayer for sport games. This game brings forth an 11 v 11 online play mode that is unbelievable, that fills up every position on the soccer field even the goalie! Though playing as a midfielder or a defender maybe easy, the real challenge is playing as the goal with the weight of the team sitting on your shoulders, it is up to you to stop the opposing goals. They also integrated a career mode which I found to be really fun. You can play as the manager of a club (team) and hire and let go of players until you have created the perfect team. If you want to play as a superstar player you can build your way through a superstar career and then onto a manager or even a players manager. The ideas and options or unlimited. Another great feature of the game is the Lounge Mode its just a simple offline game play that you can change the rules in. You can give yourself a head start or even make the opposing team players horrible. I think they throw that in there to make gamers feel good about knocking out the computer with a bang. Over all I give this game 9.0 out of 10. Though the game is the best sporting game that I have ever purchased it always could get better. From the graphics to the commentators voices. There is always room for improvement and I do believe one day Electronic Arts will perfect every game they possibly make. Thanks for reading and I definitely suggest buying this game.Read full review
Passing is harder then Fifa world cup 2010. FIFA has always been about delivering the most realistic depiction of the sport of soccer. FIFA 10 brought us 360-degree dribbling for the first time, which was a huge improvement over the traditional eight directions. We also got Virtual Pro, a feature that allowed you to create a player, put him on a team, and then watch him progress as you used him in any of the game's modes. Bringing the physicality of soccer to the forefront on-screen is another longstanding tradition for the series and one that FIFA 11 takes to the next level with something called Personality Plus.
Really good deal! The box and disc are good has new. The game plays well. I am pleased for buying this game.
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
FIFA and PES are the only games that I play everyday and every year infew days I am already use to the new version. But this year, I am already playing it for 2 months and I am not use to it...Hard passing system, and the keepers are more efficient. The player are harder to control .
8.5 Presentation Everything has the expected level of polish and the new leaderboards setup is a welcome addition. 8.5 Graphics Relatively unchanged from last year, but thankfully that's not a bad thing. New physical interactions help the overall look of the soccer. 8.5 Sound The commentary is as solid as ever and the soundtrack seems better than in years past. I'd like to hear more chatter on the pitch, though. The new ability to customize chants is wonderful. 9.0 Gameplay Personality Plus does some nice things, but the AI still needs some tuning when it comes to aggressiveness. The flow of the soccer in FIFA 11 is as great as ever. 8.5 Lasting Appeal Not being able to carry over your Be A Pro is a real shame. Online modes are robust as ever and any of the career modes will take you quite awhile to complete, while remaining fun throughout. 8.5 OVERALL GreatRead full review
