This Attic Cover was very easy to install with a good staple gun. I already had 3/8" staples, so I used those and they worked well. Being in Texas with the summer heat, there is a definite difference in the room temperature. If your on the fence, jump off, you need this, especially in Texas or anywhere in the south, just measure your attic opening and even + or - an inch or so, it should work. The material is flexible and forgiving.

Easy home improvement
I installed this cover over my attic opening after having my HVAC system sercived. The technician recommemended a tent to prevent a draft into the attic, but wanted a ridiculous amount of money due to "quality control". This seemed like a decent solution for a modest investment and it fit snugly over attic the opening with some staples and aluminum tape. It zips up very easily and folds over effortlessly to allow access into the attic. There were no instructions in the packaging and video linked in the listing to YouTube shows a totally different design being installed, but it was easy enough to figure out. Works great even when partially installed.
I have not wanted to install the stairway cover because of the extreme heat in my attic. I live in Houston. So I just set the cover over my staircase without fastening it down. Even unfastened it made an immediate impact in the temperature of the hallway. I should have put one of these in years ago.

Very easy installation. “Pros” we’re charging $250. Slight modification on attaching side strips, but probably from the non-rectangular opening of my attic ladder hole. Zipper tends to hang up on the curves but nothing to warrant a 3-star rating. After zipping up the first time, I could already tell how warm my hallway got. perfect fit, so simple to install, ( less than 10 minutes), great price, really good thick quality, large zipper works great, plenty of room to get in and out of the attic after installing, working perfect just as we wanted keeping all that hot attic air from entering our hallway. no more wet hallway walls from the hot air coming down mixing with the cool air. im sure this winter it will keep our heat from escaping into the attic also. should have bought one of these years ago. if you have an attic you have got to get one of these. very pleased with this product!
