Did a voltage test after installing on 2004 mercury grand marquis and my headlights powered on only experience .01% voltage drop after 30 minutes compared to 1.2% from factory harness after 30 minutes. Headlights are also brighter while maintaining factory heat output.Only issue i ran into was the hb5 connector to factory passenger plug in was different; Mines uses a ford fuel pump style connector got a junkyard connector and rewired: red to green blue to white and black to black.

My only gripe is that both the driver-side lead and the fuse leads should have an additional foot of wire. It fits, but not amazing. I cant mount the relays upright or reach the starter solenoid for my power with the current configuration. Luckily I have marine terminals so I was able to pull power. An extension harness would remedy the issue, but I don’t want to spend 12$ more dollars.
