    Will do B-E-A-D admirably with Rotosound sound

    Having a couple of basses set up for B-E-A-D, I've gotten pretty used to just using 5-string sets and throwing the top string out. But it feels less wasteful to go with these Drop Zones. Only question, obviously, is the price. As far as the strings themselves go, Rotosound steel has a reputation for wearing down frets faster than the competition, but I've never found that to be true. As comparison videos on YouTube have shown, they really do have a certain charming piano-y tone to them, too.

    Dead B

    Rotosound fan, just not this set. B string was lifeless from the get go. Noticing this lately with their .130 B strings.
