    When only a Mac will do, don't accept imitations!

    I bought it because Apple and Quicken can't seem to get along. Once I upgraded to Lion on my iMac, much to my surprise, Quicken for Mac no longer would access year's worth of financial records. Since I have become an Apple junkie, it gave me an excuse to buy another! The older operating system is what I needed to 'dumb down' Quicken for Mac. Even though the notebook is a little heavy compared to new ones, it serves my purposes.

    Apple McBook.

    I was eagerly looking to buy a macbook from apple, but the store was offering to give me the computer at no finance plan. In other words they wanted one grand up front. I was a really scare to pay hundreds of dollars to a stranger and get fooled, but I got to say this was a great buy. The computer took about 3-4 weeks to get to me. There was also a little incident with USPS(like always) getting my package sent to the wrong place but eventually i got it back. I got the computer in its original box, with some a software ( I was suppose to get two), a battery charger, a cable (I still don't know the use of it), and a tv adaptor(coolest thing ever). well when i first open the computer, the first thing i notice that it was SUPER CLEAN, It look like it was just bought, it had nothing broken or ...

    Excellent value and performance.

    Even for a used MacBook the battery has good life. This computer is excellent! Outperforms a PC that is 3 years newer running windows. Mac is great at maximizing the use of resources and building equipment that lasts for years with excellent performance. Running Yosemite 10.10.3 (Free download) it was a great buy even after 6 years of release.

    Basic features with functionality

    This was a high-end device back in the day, and most of that power translates fairly well even today. It works as it should without many holdups, but high-end from 8 or so years ago does not translate into high-end today. It's functional, but don't expect a high-performance machine.
