    Screw the cowboys

    Single mum ....had a quick look on you tube as tumble dryer was making all the right noises but not heating. Could have been the thermostat or heating element. I actually called a local guy who wanted to charge a £10 call out and before even asking me the brand told me itd be a full heating element as it's all one piece . So glad I investigated myself and decided to try the thermostat first (less than the call out fee) it arrived within 2 days of ordering and was an easy fix after watching a repair video. Screws off the back unclip the wires which pull off the ends prize up the prongs that hold the thermostat in place, switch it all to the new one and jobs done. If you can hold a screwdriver you can fit this easily. Thanks for getting me the part quickly and saving me a fortune in cowboy ...

    Replacement for Candy Clothes Dryer

    Candy dryer wasn't working - not heating, still turning, all lights flashing. Ordered this replacement. Very simple installation (unplug, remove a few Philips screws to take off back panel, unbend retaining tabs, unplug sensor and install new by reversing the above steps) with a great result - back working. Remember to clean out all filters to aim at fixing the root cause. You can continuity test the old sensor prior to ordering new one (but probably easier to replace it rather than diagnose it properly for this price)
