    Cheap and still surprisingly usable cpu. RAM is ddr3 and therefore high capacity ram configs are affordable. I have one sample in a workstation and two more waiting to go in a server. The workstation sample managed a 13.2% overclock on blck with a 0.2v voltage offset. Overclocking headroom varies, but in general these cpus run at a low voltage at stock settings and thus have some headroom for raising voltage at least.

    Great price-to-performance ratio in 2020

    This is a fast set of processors. They sport 6 cores and 12 threads each, the highest in the E5-2600 v2 line. Among those 6C/12T v2 Xeons, these CPUs also have the highest clock rate available. In short, these are the top-of-the-line model for applications that benefit from multithreading. Though these were released in 2013, their price-to-performance ratio give them great value in 2020.

    Excellent CPU Upgrade for Mac Pro for the money.

    I upgraded my late 2013 Mac Pro cylinder with this, took a few hours and was worth it. Also upgraded to 64gb of memory. And upgraded to 1tb pcie nvme blade Also just upgraded to macOS Mojave, and this feels like a brand new machine. I'm Very Pleased with this purchase.

    Good Workstation CPU

    Bought this mostly to future-proof my PC and to boost performance as I run VM's at the same time. First CPU I have bought 2nd-hand so was a bit sceptical at first.     Good CPU for upgrade an old mac pro 2013

    The package was quite secure with enough cusion for the CPU to be safely transported. The CPU is very clean considering it's used. The vendor indeed stamped it with ink, but it's easy to remove. Overall, satisfied.
