Good truck, but not for a rtr , everything no good
First day of driving the truck,screws started to come loose, after break-in.no locktite on anywhere on the truck, engine has ability of power but clutch shoes and Springs have to be changed as engine was not Engaged properly with full RPM after tuned for performance, servo broke twice,gearbox two speed transmission screw came loose and had to be screwed back in with locktite.after going through everything I could possibly think, could not find the error of unstable revving once I leaned it from hsn and still does not move and bog out with the engine still Rich. Than I suspected that the carby was faulty, took it apart and found out that the hsn o-ring was broken causing the fuel to always run rich no matter how much you try to tune it in so I had a fuel leak through the high speed ... This truck has given me problem after problem. The worse rtr I have ever seen in my life with nitro cars.im gonna have to strip the whole car and rebuild from scratch making sure locktite is used for all screws to metal. PLZ!!! DO NOT BUY THIS TRUCK!! Worse clutch, worse spur gear for a truck,gear box bad setup, HPI Savage clone but made it Worse, Has features for a On road car speed runs. Honest review, this is the worse rtr truck I have came Across everything had to be addressed properly before you will see it do wheelies and scream. I'm sure it has full abilities to perform at full capacity Of power once you have done everything including reduced clutch Bell teeth to 13t as spur gear is only 32 and pretty small in size. I guess that comes with the job with choosing nitro power over electric!!! Didn't expect to do this much work though for a rtr truck, usually I just break-in period and then tune for performance.ill get there... patience is the key
