KCl as salt substitute
Other potassium chloride salt substitutes seem to have added substances that affect the flavor. When using this particular brand, the flavor is much better than the competition. This is important for those of use on restricted salt intake diets.

115/70 BLOOD PRESSURE! Threw away my BP prescriptions! Low cost fix.
EXCELLENT! I'm 63 and had to use RX drugs to keep my blood pressure in control. 3 days of taking 1/8 tsp. potassium chloride with my meals resulted in PERFECT BLOOD PRESSURE! 110/70 to 115/75. Works much better than the RX drugs and has no side effects. Potassium iodide or citrate delivers only 100 mg or so per dose, not enough to give the RDA of 4700 mg. You'd need 20 pills each day to approach the amount needed. Potassium chloride delivers high potency and costs much less. I don't like the taste, so do not sprinkle this on my food as other folks do. I put it in capsules, which is time consuming, even with a pill-making machine. Don't take this without food. It's very strong and will give you a BIG stomach ache. time release will not upset my stomach but cannot find it. this works 4 me. empty potassium chloride in new clear plastic bottle with long sprout (EBAY) clip a little off the tip. hold tip upright toward top of clear plastic capsule that holds about 1/4 teas. pour into small bottle of fruit juice. swallow (a little salty). then chase with more juice.

BLOOD PRESSURE DOWN!
After deciding that my diet was too low in potassium, I couldn't find a capsule supplement that provided an adequate amount of potassium. Potassium chloride is used as a salt substitute, but I discovered that using this as salt substitute ruined the taste of my food. So I cap this and take 1 capsule midway through breakfast, another midway through dinner. DO NOT TAKE ON AN EMPTY STOMACH, will get a major stomach ache! Very affordable. My BP dropped from 139/82 back to 115/70. Take about 1000 mg/day. Too bad nobody sells this already capsuled.
