Good product but not truly compatible with 1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited
Good quality product. The only issue is this part is not actually compatible out of the box for a 1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited. Reason being, the outdoor rear view mirrors on that model are both power operated AND heated. This product only supports power and no heating. Because of that, the connector on the replacement mirror is not compatible with the receiver connector in the vehicle. To use this product, you will have to forgo the heating functions and do some minor electrical work to have the mirrors be power operated. The work consists of removing the connector from the existing mirror, removing the connector from the new mirror, and splicing the connector from the old mirror into the wiring for the new mirror. Match of the colors on the wires, connect them, then terminate to ... Good quality product. The only issue is this part is not actually compatible out of the box for a 1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited.
