The product photo shows a 1977 version and I received a 1983 version. No big deal but I wish to know what version I was getting in advance.

First, the cosmetic appearance is a little more banged up than expected and seen in the pictures of the posting. Second, not sure why the aperture ring is reversed. At the widest aperture, the ring is indicating F16 when it should be F2. Third, there a few scrathes on the glass elements. The saving grace is that these scratches appear not to affect in shooting.
