    Seagate Barracuda ES 500 GB SATA Hard Drive

    This is a very quiet and fast drive. Plus, it has a lot of storage and it's MTBF is incredible. I forgot what it is but it's just incredible. I can go to sleep at night knowing that this drive will still be working the next day. Hitachi is a good brand also, but in this day an age it is better to stick with an American product or a product with an American sounding name.

    Solid drive at a great price

    I hooked this up right after I got it and sat it on my computer. Just laying there running without a shell or enclosure and I never hear it run. To be honest I had forgotten about mounting it until I received the request for a review.

    Great product that performs beyond expectations!

    For less than $21.00 ($20.99 to be exact) I bought a Seagate Hard Drive that has 500 GB (that's one half of a Terra Byte to the professionals). Installed without any problems and I have enough space to store all my music (converted all my CD's and tapes to mp3's) and store all my home videos. It runs quietly and I don't even notice it like the Hard Drive it replaced. Great product at a reasonable price. Planning on buying another one within the month.
