I know, its plastic, but it does not matter, the quality is still there. Will it last a life time, likely not but it is a great shaver. The company who makes the $200 all stainless razors makes this one too and it is a great tool. I have a medium beard, and soft skin, it shaves me just fine. It is a good way to get started with using a double edge razor and then if you want to spend your hard earned cash on a more expensive all metal one fee free to do so, at least you did not spend $50 or more and then decide, wet shaving is not for you.I know, its plastic, but it does not matter, the quality is still there. Great value, mild shave
This is a fine razor and quite a good value. The butterfly opening is very convenient and finding it in such an affordable razor is amazing. The handle provides enough grip that it has not slipped when handling with wet slippery hands. My only complaint is that this razor provides a very mild shave, too mild for me, even with feather blades. If you are new to DE razors like I am, you can expect to be pleased but will probably seek an upgrade eventually.This is a fine razor and quite a good value. Low cost shaving with a accurat and well designed safety razor.
I ordered this safety razor because I am tired of paying for expensive multi blade razor heads that are dull after only a few shaves. The multi blade razor heads also plug with hair and soap making it hard to rinse out after every stroke. This razor allows you to use a great variety of common and inexpensive razor blades. It holds the blade accurately. It is light and ease to handle. It has a large uninterrupted space to allow hair and soap to pass without plugging. It is made of stamped metal and plastic but is well designed. Shaving with a safety razor does take more skill and a little more time, this razor does not change that. The blades that come with it are very sharp and hard. Good Mild Razor
I've been using this razor for about 6 months. It's my first and only double-edged razor. It takes a couple of weeks to really get the hang of it, as far as proper angle and the hard to reach places under your nostrils etc. However, it gives a great shave and no razor burn once you get the hang of it. Works well with the Feather blade, but I've settled on Derby because they're comparable to the Feather blades and less expensive. They also seem to be easier on the skin. Great value. This is in my opinion the best Twist To Open razor in the world. Specially in combination with the Feather razor blads. I have this razor now for a couple of weeks and it never bites or gives scratches . It is very soft to the face. And of course a very smooth end result. During shaving its easy to clean. Just open the razor a little bit and rins it clean in the water. I recommend this razor highly.This is in my opinion the best Twist To Open razor in the world.
