      MT1 pen mandrel

      Im fairly new at turning and wanted to try making pens. So far the mandrel has been great. No real experience turning prior to getting it so nothing to really compare it to, but made 4 pens so far and no issues. The spacers are nice for different size projects.

      Wood Turning Pen Mandrel Good Value

      Purchased the Pen Mandrel with #1MT and using it on an old Ryobi mini lathe from the 90s. Mandrel runs true to center, but would recommend a pass through live center on the tail stock to guarantee the mandrel stays centered if you apply any moderate tool or sanding pressure to the work piece. Would purchase this product again. Good value for the price and purpose.
