      Spare Cables Are A Must-Have

      I learned a while back that Apple cables don't last forever. I also realized that it was a good idea to have a few extras, one for home, one for the car, one for the workplace, and backup cables when one wore out. The life span of these cables (with daily use) is only a few months, and at about the six-month mark, the soft cable casing starts to shred and expose the wires, so it's time to replace. That is the only reason I give these cables a 4-star rating; it would be great if Apple would or could design a sturdier, longer lasting cable. They're easy to use, and provide a great connection for charging Apple devices.

      So far, so good

      For "genuine Apple" product, seems odd that it came with no markings in a generic clear package and no material indicating its origin. Otherwise it seems to be working fine. Other generics I have bought in the past did not perform correctly, so hopefully this one is the real deal.

      The Genuine Article

      Quickly and easily connects my iPod Classic to my Macbook with no problems. Facilitates transfer and managing of files. No spontaneous disconnections. Every third-party vendor product that claimed to be "compatible with iPod" created massive problems with at least two of these tasks. Investing in genuine brand-name accessories pays off.

      OEM APPLE IPHONE 4s CHARGER

      My old oem iPhone 4s charger wire ripped (very common) where the pin connects to the phone. I never use this phone just have old pictures and music stored I needed to get transferred. Charger charges perfect! Well designed and perfect replacement (oem).
