    S&S Quickee EZ Install Pushrods

    These push rods are high quality, and more important VERY easy to install. The design allows them to be installed much quicker than other screw type adjustable push rods. You screw the tip into the rod body until it goes past the threads, then you use your finger to slide the tip into the rod body, and up and into the lifter blocks. Plenty of room to get them in, very easy. The instructions state that you can't use your stock push rod covers, because you won't be able to adjust the push rods. I did not have any problems using my original push rod covers since they were Screaming Eagle tube covers were the correct length.

    S&S EZ Install pushrods

    Very good quality. No regrets purchasing them. Excellent instructions for beginner mechanics or people with limited mechanical experience. I would suggest purchasing the whole kit which includes pushrod tubes, unless you have a couple Harley shops close by...or used parts vendors.

    Best work-around

    These pushrods are the only way to service your cam case without removing the rocker boxes. They're an important upgrade if you want to save labor. The pushrods are of high quality and work exactly as advertised. NOTE: They don't fit with stock H-D pushrod covers, so you'll need to matching S&S pushrod cover set specifically for adjustable pushrods. The reason is, the S&S rod covers have a short bottom section and a longer top section (opposite of stock H-D), and that gives you room to push the lower pushrod cover section up out of the way to access the adjustment. You may be happier purchasing the whole kit (pushrods, covers, o-rings). You'll also need a roughly 36" set of bolt cutters to get the stock pushrods out without removing to rocker boxes.

    The reason I bought these.

    The value in this product is mainly in time-saving. I bought them because I had an oil-leak from a pushrod-tube,and didn't want to take the cylinder-head off again. In addition to this product, -you will need a set of collapsible pushrod-tubes and a bolt-cutter.

    WORTH THE MONEY

    these s&s pushrods save you alot of time, no need to remove your rocker boxes easy to adjust, just make sure to get the shorter pushrod tubes, the quickee pushrods with you install your lifter covers, before installing pudhrods
