Very inexpensive and finicky connections but it got the job done that I wanted. I wanted to reclaim data on old laptop hard drives before I discarded them. Ok, maybe I shouldn't have been working in my lap while watching TV, but lost then gained (sometimes) the connection with any hint of movement improperly disconnecting the drive while reading/copying. Not recommended. It's not clear how to marry the connector and hard drive. I guessed right on the first one, nothing broke and it looks like it might not fit together if I flipped the connector anyway. Bottom line they (I ordered two) thankfully reclaimed all my data.
